These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Origin Automobile Works Ltd (“OAW”) website and the purchase of equipment, spare parts and services from us. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
By using our website or confirming an order, you agree to these terms. If you are acting on behalf of a company, cooperative or government body, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.

Using our website
You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You must not attempt to interfere with its operation, gain unauthorised access to our systems, or copy content for commercial use without our written permission.
Product images, specifications and availability shown online are for guidance and may change without notice.
Quotations and orders
- Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless stated otherwise.
- Orders are confirmed once we issue a written order confirmation and receive any agreed deposit.
- Prices are quoted in Naira and exclude VAT, delivery and installation unless shown otherwise.
- Imported equipment prices may be revised before confirmation where exchange rates or duties change.
Payment
Payment terms are set out in your quotation. Unless agreed otherwise, a deposit of 50% is due on order confirmation and the balance before delivery. Ownership of equipment passes to you only when full payment has been received.
Where financing is arranged through one of our partners, the partner’s own terms will also apply.
Delivery and installation
We will agree a delivery date and location with you. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by shipping, customs or site access. You are responsible for making sure the site is accessible and ready for installation.
- Risk in the equipment passes to you on delivery.
- Please inspect equipment on arrival and report any visible damage within 48 hours.
- Operator training is provided at handover where included in your order.
Warranty and OAW Care
New equipment is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, the length of which is stated on your invoice. OAW Care supports warranty claims, scheduled maintenance and genuine spare parts.
The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, unauthorised modifications, or damage from using non-genuine parts.
TOG Platform
Use of the TOG Platform for equipment hire and services is also subject to the TOG user terms in the app. Bookings are confirmed in the app, and cancellation charges may apply as shown at the time of booking.
Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos and designs, belongs to OAW or its partners and is protected by law. Manufacturer trademarks are used with permission and remain the property of their owners.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, OAW is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of crops, income or profit. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the price paid for the equipment or service concerned. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute will first be referred to good-faith discussion and, if not resolved within 30 days, to the courts of Lagos State.
